JOE PRATHER FOR CONGRESS COMMITTEE: Census Bureau reports Buffalo population was 515 in 2017

Job prather for congress committee issued the following announcement on Sept 11.

Buffalo had a population of 515 people in 2017, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Kentucky Business Daily.

Buffalo is a census-designated place in Kentucky. The median age of Buffalo residents was 38, with 52 percent of the total population being female and 48 percent male.

The state’s total population in 2017 was 4,424,376.

An agency of the U.S. Federal Statistical System, the Census Bureau is responsible for compiling statistical facts about the American people, places and economy. Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
